POE Commercial Filters

KineticoPRO’s commercial free-standing filters come with different media options, depending on your business’ needs. Choose between Activated Carbon for Chlorine removal or for eliminating bad taste and odour, and our patented Macrolite™ sediment filtration media.

Macrolite™ comes with benefits such as:

Surface water filtration
Arsenic removal
Iron and manganese removal
Membrane pre-filtration Macrolite is designed to maximize available surface area within a granular bed filter. The surface is designed for an improved porous texture and a composition that promotes colloidal attachment. The adhesion mechanism is the dominant form of particle removal over the straining mechanism. An optimized sphericity and uniformity enhance transport mechanisms increasing the probability of colloid to granule contact. This is accomplished with acceptable headloss and minimal backwash energy. Comparable filtration with mined aggregates is not possible due to its random and inconsistent physical characteristics.

The Benefits

KineticoPRO’s filters use our non-electric control valve to provide continuous filtered water. A variety of media can be configured with these systems: carbon for dechlorination, calcite for neutralization and Macrolite^TM for iron and particulate removal. These products provide filtration from a few litres per minute to hundreds of litres per minute. Depending on the type of application carbon, calcite or Macrolite^TM can be configured with these systems.

Please note our Service Flow Rate is quoted with a 1 bar pressure drop across the softener. Whilst our Peak Flow Rate is quoted with a 2 bar drop.
